Are you sure?I think the only difference is that the v5 comes with a nato strap and the v4 with leather.
And now my pearls missing, ive owned this watch for less than 4 days
I know this isn't very helpful, but that happens. Even to great non-rep watches. I have a beautiful watch from Aramar and it lost it's pearl after only a year.
"...just one of those things..."
Hi newbie here and really want the red V5. Looks really great in my eyes. Do you know if all TDs test and regulate the watches on a timegrapher before they ship to you? I saw one or two in the TD section mention it but I'm too noob to know if they all do it.

This is true except the new ones coming out will be the shield dial, rep of the in house movement... however the rep will have an ETA clone so it will actually be a less accurate rep...Hi, yes they will send you timegrapher pics, but personally, I would wait on this model, there will be new models coming out soon with new logo on, and bezel/bracelet design. this isn't 100%, but after the success of Black Bay series I would say 95%, also I've read a few TD here mention it, can't remember where on what thread

If you can get a good rose dial it might be worth it to get one now
Does anyone know which TD's carry the V5 Red Black Bay? Also, if any TD's having it on sale?
The V5 is really good just make sure you scrutinize the QC pics So you get a good dial. The rose can be problematic, however in the real world it's really small and hard to see.
So, biggest thing to QC is the rose? After reading here I found out I need to look at the alignment of the bezel, lume conformity, ask about the function of the stem and crown. Do many TDs test for water resistance? They advertise the waterproofing on their sites sometimes. Thanks in advance.
