Insert's blue look quite ok, maybe the dial looks darker on the ZF but it may be the picture lighting.

The only way to tell if the blue color is correct is to have the gen and the rep side by side. Rep makers usually struggle to get the right blue, and lighting conditions play a huge part.

I'm really not sure it matters. The variation in the gen under different light is so great that the detail of the blue colour is not important. If the rep is still blue rather than black in dim light then maybe, but even then the gen can still look blue under certain dim light. It looks close enough in the images IMO. More important is that its a satin matt, and the dial is slightly less saturated than the bezel.

Lets wait for the first users to receive the watch. There seem to be a few who already own the gen and are planning to get the rep aswell. Nevertheless even if the blue isnt that good replicated and the finish looks slightly different, I am probably gonna order the watch anyways since it will take ZF long to bring out a new version.

I doubt it since the first bb58 wasn’t really repped by anyone else. I doubt it will change this time around.

It appears to me that ZF are using 2 different types of rectangular markers (3,6 and 9) from different pics I have seen of this watch. One has a thicker steel border than the other.
