Hello, can somebody comment on the thickness measurement of the bracelet? I’m thinking of buying the 58’s bracelet for my watch. Thanks in advance!

I don't think this model has AR applied guys. Gen has no AR as well it's just a sapphire xtal.

I think so too. On Google Images I found many photos where you can see quite a lot of reflections...

Correct, no AR. The interesting thing about the crystal is that its domed shape creates smaller reflections that also appear much further away than what flat crystals produce. So, for example if you have the gen 58 and another watch with sapphire (using a Seiko Alpinist for this comparison right this moment) side by side the reflections of objects in the flat crystal appear much closer distance wise and larger, about 10x larger by my estimate, than on the 58's dome so glare is reduced significantly to the point where I would say AR is unnecessary. The crystal on the gen is a big part of what makes the dial dynamic and gorgeous to look at even under heavy light where normally glare would be a concern.

not sure if this is common knowledge but I thought I would point it out since it really surprised me how glare was dramatically different on the 58 than on my other flat sapphire crystal watches. this should be the case for all domed crystals, I imagine. I don't have another domed crystal to compare against to see if the Tudor somehow further exaggerates this convex optical effect. Curious to hear what others think, and if this is common knowledge, oops.

All double dome crystals create that small reflection vs a flat crystal. Just another reason why I love DD crystal. I am not sure if the dome height/radius of the dome has a large impact but my omega PO has a slight dome and reflections are almost non existent.

Hi, i have been a passive observer of this thread for a while.
For those who have bought the V1 that has been released,
how is the watch movement? Does it keep time well?
For the future-release versions, V2 V3 etc, will the movement improve as well?
I have never bought a replica watch before, but Tudor 58 is just a masterpiece, the dimensions, and there's no cheaper watch looks the same as it. I know i have to get this, but the gen is just out of my price budget. Im happy to see pictures shared so far, hope you guys are happy with your purchases. Kind regards.

I don't think the movement will change. It will be most likely minor cosmetic changes like lume color (hands and hour markers don't match 100%), shorter crown tube, etc.

The A2824 is very reliable, though. You will likely have +/- 10s/d and probably you can adjust it to less than that. If you plan to keep this one forever you can always buy a Swiss ETA 2824 and have a watchsmith swap the movements.
