Honestly read through this entire review...totally awesome! Can't thank you enough for the time that went into this. Started out in another thread where Smoke was talking about the Yachtmaster and then into this one. Going to pickup the Noob version as much as I would love to get both and combine them as you suggested lol =)

Question, now that JF came out with the new SH3135 (with yuki movement) do you think you will still go for the Noob SA3135? Did JF also changed some of the parts and made it closer to Gen?

Finally, would you suggest getting the JF SH3135 and insert the Noob Dial and Hands?

I've endlessly researched this (other threads on RWI and other forums too) and I even almost switched a JF YM2 order I had placed to go to a Noob version. In the end I decided to go with the JF. The noob if you notice shows a slight gap between bezel and bezel insert. One of the TDs showed me pictures confirming it and he said that the gap was even more apparent in later stock. So, though the numbers on the bezel insert are a bit nicer on the Noob, I went with the JF. Hope that helps.

@atgm it looks like clicking the like button increases post ratings which is displayed in the profile. I think 13/14 likes for @zocker4711 review is stingy. But this might because people wont know the relation. Perhaps find a way to give more prominence to the like button?

You're right! i was about to pull my trigger on the NOOB Yachtmaster Greg dial version until i saw alot of the owners posted pictures about the bezel gap so i stopped and patiently waiting for any new changes.. . . . Did you get you JF YM already?

Not yet, I okayed QC based on the pics but I'm waiting a couple other watches I ordered from the same TD to resolve QC issues before they all ship together.

TD's don't stock watches. They're dealers, they go and get them from the factories hence the statement that you will see here regularly - all TD's can get all watches
