Bezel and Dial Review of ZZF V2S 116610LV Submariner and Comparison vs. Gen, ARF V3 and Noob V10

It’s true Li gets short exclusivities to the ZZF stuff, this is why people are still waiting for QC elsewhere, any other dealer I’ve asked the watch is currently out of stock.

Hi guys, I also purchased a V2s through Li, the service has been top notch. I approved the QC pics about a week ago and the watch has been shipped. I noticed that other V2s have a lower case clasp code. In the QC's the rolex crown on the rehaut was slightly off center from the 12 which I understand is shared by the other V2s pics so far. I'm sure its just the light but the clasp lettering looks like it may be capitalised and was looking for a second opinion.

Just got my QC. I think my xtal might be ever so slightly misaligned. It is not a problem will probably upgrade to Prof Black hole. I think the watch is stunning, will green light

Never handled a gen?

Zzf v2 on the right.



Even the rep case I have on the franken(pictured on the left) blows the zzf’s uncurved, straight lined crown guards out of the water. Again anyone who’s been familiar with the gen will automatically spot out a zzf.

I tend to agree as well. The QC pics we have seen so far are stunning. It's a beautiful watch. But the crown guards could use an improvement as it seems very obvious as they look much different from my gen - but of course all of the reps need improvements in different areas. Pick the rep with the flaw(s) you can live with the most and the strengths you like the best and go for it.

I think you are fine with what you have. They all have VERY small imperfections so you have to pick what you are happy with the most. I was in a similar situation. Very difficult decision but ended up ordering an ARF V3 Hulk. Just approved the QC pics earlier this week and it's on its way.

Goddamn these things are so good. They check more boxes for me ootb than any other rep I’ve seen before.

Can’t wait for a gen v rep comparison although we already know what differences we’ll find.

if the insert really is this close to gen green, just need gen xtal and I can live with the close enough cgs, close enough rehaut, close enough bezel teeth, close enough pearl, maybe hand swap but keep capped seconds hand

Agree with your thought process. One comment though: You will never put your hands near the ZZF bezel teeth (I have a v2 with gen bezel now) once you have touched a gen or ARF The teeth are sharp/awkward. Will you notice it on the wrist, probably not but will you feel the difference...oh yess!!
