There was a post awhile back saying a TD confirmed they're using both clasp codes on the newest iteration of the watch and dial. I just received my QC and it's C4R with the correct X.Based on this, is it fair to say that the C4R issue is independent of the Rolex ‘X’ flaw? I.e you can have the X flaw regardless of whether its C4R or the lower case c4r?
I should be receiving mine in a week or so but this has gotten my interest. Although truthfully, whether it’s C4R or lower case, it makes no difference to me anyways since it’s not visible to myself nor anyone else while on the wrist.
I have been comparing my QC images compared to my gen GMT, and honestly can’t see much difference in terms of the ‘X’. So either I got lucky, or maybe I need to have my eyes checked.
