Not necessaryly. They might have already fixed the clasp as they habe with the x
or mixed parts with old stock.

Nothing wrong with your watch? It has the fixed X in Rolex, and your clasp code is good.

I got a v2s with the crappy X, and the wrong clasp code on its way, i'll be more than happy to trade with you if you don't want it :)

I haven't seen a GMF Hulk dial in hand but regarding the VRF:

The first version with short ft = 300 m was pretty much identical to the BP Miyota in terms of color range and its ability to display black and green together. These dials likely came from the same source.

The second and current version with long ft = 300m showed a different color range and doesn't reach the same level of black while keeping its green. It's better in this respect than the ZZF Hulk dial but it falls short of the first version. I had two samples of this dial, a 3135 and a 2836, trying to get one like the Miyota for a special project. They were both nearly identical to each other and I decided not to keep either one.

VRF - second and current version

If the GMF 3135 dial is good, that would certainly be an easier swap than a Miyota, but we torture ourselves to gain a fraction of perceived improvement so if you can get one I think the Miyota dial or first version VRF is the best.

In all the reps with the strong light that thin blade of sun comes out. On gens it is almost never seen, and when it is there it is still different.
All colored dial reps have the same problem. They look like changing of economic costume jewelery.

I got your point.. but look here i know that light situation is different but also gen seems to have that blade effect, but it can turn more black. What do you think

Not sure I've not seen the fixed font v2s dial in real life.also I think the less or more gold added to the dials paint in manufacturing darker the dial gets whilst displaying green at the same time.some v2 and v2s can display green and black well looking at some pics people are posting here and some can not do this.so it maybe qc on the way this dial looks In certain conditions also.

A bit off topic but are there any V2 owners in EU wanting to get rid of their V2 due to their V2S arrival?

Would settle with a V2 at the moment due to the long shipping times right now.

PM if any.

For your consideration: What is the probability that ZZF upgraded the dial and/or corrected the serial number and has not tried to publicly capitalize on this augmentation?

Occam's razor dictates that you are chasing a perceptual spectre.

V2S is V2S is V2S.

Logic dictates that some people are misreading variances in photography and others are getting the wrong watch from TDs. This is significantly more probable than a rapid shadow upgrade in production.

Of course, this is merely my opinion.

It’s just part of the hobby dawg! I stopped following for ~6mo. when I came back ZZF v2 was still the champ.

I think this is likely the case, to often here people say something’s been fixed, and coin another version, when the factories have said nothing.
