Just use your flashlight and record video with your sunburst,after that take few screenshots in video and post to us,no need for direct sunlight

So piecing all this info together, i'm thinking about doing a build:

1. Noob Case v10 or v9? (This would fix the CG issue and the horrible ZZF double Xx rehault right?)
2. ARF Bracelet/clasp (Already have one in stock)
3. ZZF Dial + Hands
4. ZZF VR movement + crown
5. Gen crystal

Is there anything i'm missing or misunderstood.

Also is it possible to take the ZZF movement + dial and just pop it over in the Noob case, or is that a difficult job?

Go with Noob v10 case, the insert is friction fit just like gen. Noob v9, the insert is glued. Otherwise, your list is spot on. BTW, ARF has the best (gen like) bezel teeth if you can get hold of one. I would also go with gen hands, matches perfectly with ZZF dial/markers.

FYI - I have also posted a pic comparison previously on this thread between gen and ZZF v2 case - didn’t see any difference. (I understand the CG issue is a v2s problem)

The dial going black is only good if it simultaneously shows green, like the BP Miyota

Honestly I can't see being bothered by the serial number starting with an X. It could happen on a gen. The serial number X is a smaller font and has no serifs so it's not like they double clutched on the engraver.

I did think about the Gen hands, and to be honest, that's probably going to be to big a job for me. This is my first time doing this somewhat extensive mod, and i'm thinking that i can get away with moving the movement and changing the crystal. Changing hands might not be a good idea

The ZZF case shape does not bother me whatsoever, but i just can't stand that Xx rehault, that's the only reason why i want to switch cases.

Its the spacing between the X x, and the spacing after the first 3 letters in the serial. I just cant unsee it

Hah true bro, the spacing between L and 2 is definitely a flaw so we gotta like what we pay for.

OMG, amazing dial!!

In 4 month or when you get your call from AD for the gen (whichever comes first ), I am first in line for that dial.

Just got this rep from Trusty.. Looks amazing.. However I have not been able to set the date.. is this a common occurrence that people have suffered through? For the life of me I am pretty sure its not me.

Thinking of contacting Trusty with it, but seems like a long shot that I'd get a resolution.. Disappointed that the quality control is this poor, next time I need to ask for pictures with different dates set.

As far as I can tell, i can only get the crown in two positions, wind and time set on what looks like would be position 3. I cant get it to go further out or get a mid position between wind and timeset

When ur in wind position, gently pull it to 2nd position. If it skips to 3rd(time setting) something is broken.

Does the date change normally in the time setting position? If so, set the proper date and time and at least you can enjoy the watch til you can sort it.

Most TDs will want you to send a watch back for repairs, something I won't do. Sometimes you can get some credit toward your next purchase if you can show there is a defect you didn't cause.

Your watch probably has a bad part in the keyless works, which would require a watchmaker to fix or replace.
