Sadly there are too many folks who are P155 takers and rely on folks giving them the benefit of the doubt !!

I think the couple in question are all trying to avoid their own incompetence, be it poor business practices or inability to fix their screw ups. I think the same situation holds for the ones in question, that the money was spent otherwise they would have resolved this quietly and moved on.

It seems that the latest version of the movement has been ordered, the V4, to replace the damaged movement.

Hopefully after over 28 months of waiting the watch will soon be in running order and returned to it's owner.

Thanks buddy. I think it's really difficult to mad at him, because he always comes up with some excuse. And i've been accused of "extortion" now also. So it's a bit sad.

Yes. He says he doesn't have money to make a refund etc. So it's difficult to say otherwise.

I accepted this solution with the movement swap. That was afterall what @Cicero proposed almost 4 months ago. At the moment he is cooperating with @tripdog , which i think is great.
And i am not after ripping him for money . I will be happy as long as i get a functional watch. The time passed has passed, it can't be brought back. So if he from today on can do this in a reasonable timeframe, without mishaps, i will be grateful. Today i upgraded to patron because i feel i owe this forum something for all the support i am getting and all the help of the mods, who work for free.
