I already know the quality of the new Noob 390 is rubbish and there are many mistakes. I was just checking out the Trusty sale and he says the dial is black rather than tobacco and the photos indeed look black, which is a completely fatal error for a 390. I don't really care though, as several people here know I have a gen 390. I was just curious.

For me, it's my XF PAM000.
I like those 2 handed bases, clean and simple

If they release a 2392 and 112, I'd vote those 2 as well

XF 000 is also my favorite. Can't beat the classic simple PAM look, the price+free strap. It also seems not to have the recessed CP issue that plagues other models. Ordering one soon
VSF 1312 is a close second judging from some pics posted by other members recently; the closed CB and slim case add to my preference. Might get me this one too....

Check out this comparison thread (really well put together) between old and new Noob re-release. Dial is definitely not black.

Thanks, I have read it but the Trusry site threw a spanner in the works :D

I would love to see a gen 390 in person one day. I heard the dial color is quite unique. You made a great choice buying gen 390.

Thank you. If I am being 100% honest, the gen isn't all that different from the old Noob. They did a great job with that rep and it is a legitimate NWBIG model. Which is all the more disappointing about the new Noob. I am highly sceptical as to whether or not the new Noob releases are even actual "Noob" watches of old or just have the same name but are compiled by a new company utilising completely different suppliers of parts. NOOB did disappear for a while after a raid after all. Maybe they never really recovered.

This is great information. Thank you. I regret even more not buying the old Noob lol

Here is a side by side of gen 390 and 915 . The 390 is on JV strap to match the overall feel of the 390 better. It is ab almost impossible colour dial to photograph accurately as the phone camera just struggles to pick up nuances

That's very helpful. 390 seems to be brown in a subtle way next to a black dial 915. Is the 915 also a gen (looks gen to me but I am not as familiar with the model)? Also one question I have about gen is 390 is, is there a tint on the AR or is it colorless? CurioLeo

Thanks for the photo!
Since we have touched on pam915, I suppose you know a little more about this model than I do. I've seen photos on the internet with both solid and transparent casebacks. Was it different in different episodes, or some kind of bug?

Also, on instances with a solid caseback, I saw screw, not spring bars. Do they all have screws?

915 has a sapphire caseback and standard screw in bars

No problem but I will take this conversation to a new 915 specific thread :D

I agree, we got carried away a little. :)
I will gladly support a new discussion when you open it.

By the way, what do you think is the best 2020 release?
