yes ive put gen straps on a BBR. You need some patience to line it up, but it does work
Hey do you know where I can get BBR 4 & 5 prong correct screw driver?
TD sent me the wrong one, its 2.3mm but the prongs dont fit into the screw. I appreciate your help.

hmm I used a gen / zf size screw driver on a BBR RM35-02. It should work.

I believe the size is 2.35 4 prong

My TD sent me a 2.35 4 prong and it didn't work. While it fit in the hole, The prongs were not aligning with the screws.

Was just going a deep dive on this same question, as I was about to purchase bbr055 & bbr 35-02. Movement still seems to be unreliable due to a common issue of “overbearing”.

On the bright side BBR 35-01 has the more updated version of the movement, so 055 may have a new version coming out soon.

This it’s my findings, I may be wrong/ misusing newer information.
Of course it has to be the 2 exactly models I want. Guess I got the time to play the waiting game , I got a few watches I need anyway while they keep developing this movement.

I'd be lying if I don't salivate every darn time I see one though, and go back and forth over just pushing it to the top of my list.

I wonder why they would update the 35-01 , I wouldn't mind that model but would prefer an automatic especially if I'm gonna get it in black. The only 35-01 I like is 🤍 NTPT 🧡 Velcro strap. I don't wanna have 2 white RMs either and I'm not getting a black Bubba, so I'm basically forced to wait.

From wechat dealer:

💥💥💥Breaking news bbr has upgraded its integrated movement. The movement that cost more than 10,000 yuan some time ago is now shipped with bbr. The proportion details are much better than before

Looks like this is the one from the RM61 we saw a few months ago, finally made it out of the "ultra custom 1:1 clone seven thousand dollar" phase and into the "buy it from a normal TD like a normal rep fiend" phase! I'm going to pick one up eventually just so I can have a version of every major movement revision from KVF through ZF and now to BBR and beyond.

So what's the difference between v2 and this v3?
I didn't catch the difference.
This one looks closer to an actual clone than the BBR v1/v2, which was more like a Miyota torn apart with redone bridges. You can see that it's got a double barrel and the wheel at 8:00 is closer to gen, plus the balance wheel is smaller and the escape wheel has been relocated upwards. It also has a chunky part at 6:00 that isn't accurate to gen but looks to hold the escape wheel and probably was designed for the RM61 which has bridges that cover that part so it's less obvious.

my TDs have all said stay away from RM unless you dont plan on wearing it. They say they're not fully waterproof, and noisy. Anyone have insight on these remarks reguarding all richard mille reps?

They're not waterproof but neither are most of the gens. They've made some strides to fix that lately but they're known for fogging up. I've never had a problem with any of my RM reps (and I have a lot) but I don't swim in them and I'm careful when washing my hands. As for noise, the ones based on a miyota have a loud rotor but the ball-bearings in gens wouldn't be silent either. I've daily-worn RM reps for almost five years and never had issues with either. Wear what you like, but noise and waterproofness aren't particularly important compared to the array of other flaws.
