I did, they haven't followed up to the support ticket, they stopped replying.
Wow dude, I'm not sure why this was missed but it's been fixed, as per policy your two accounts have been merged into the older one (REALDonJuan) and a password reset has been sent.

Are these reliable yet or will they spontaneously explode?
Was just going a deep dive on this same question, as I was about to purchase bbr055 & bbr 35-02. Movement still seems to be unreliable due to a common issue of “overbearing”.

On the bright side BBR 35-01 has the more updated version of the movement, so 055 may have a new version coming out soon.

This it’s my findings, I may be wrong/ misusing newer information.

Anecdotally, I bought one second-hand somewhat broken, I have to set the time and then wind it, otherwise it loses power when I pull the crown out, but I've owned it for what is probably a year, and haven't had any issues beyond that.

My v1 ran for several months daily just fine, but it did stutter quite a bit. From what I've seen almost all the v1s have the stutter, overbanking problems, or both. The v2 is supposedly much more reliable but I don't think anyone knows for sure beyond anecdotally.

My BBR v2 RM055 has been running great since last summer. Hasn’t skipped a beat tbh. A few others posted the same from memory too

quality / closeness to gen and the movement
nothing is close to gen.
it will still take years to to exact clone movements. RM is somewhat the epidome of watch making. when you realize the cost for a screw that they produce inhouse is 45$ is the moment you realize how cute rolex is. there is a reason they do 30gr watches. there is a reason they have the flattest watch in the world. they are just nutz at RMFactory.

I was right about to say this as well. Even down to the screw size, the finish and the movement optics. But the top factories get it close enough so that average person has no clue it’s a fake. They pass the “quick google image” test.

As I am also on the same quest, what I have recently found out is that SONIC seems to be the best option movement wise as for ease of access from TDs + reliability. Please correct me someone if I am wrong.

I’m seeing T+ & Sonic 35-0X are reliable & (BBR 35-01 only) equally as reliable.

BBR also allows you to get nylon straps straight from factory, and best for those with ~6.5inch wrist size.

T+ has best red NTPT but back days “RICHARO MILLE”
