Just noticed that the known issue extended line at 5, NOT even on the same level as the line on 7

But I dont really care at this point.

Yeah I noticed that as well. It was probably overlooked during the proofing process. I've seen ZF come out with V2/revised models, I wonder if they will do that on this model. It will probably be some time before they do though, they have taken months in the past with some of the IWC models. Depends on how well it sells.

Judging by this thread though, there will be good revenue for them.

Not sure that is an issue bro.

Look at the extending lines passing 11 & 1 and 7 & 5 on this gen (ie not in same level):

It appears the extending 5 and 7 lines are a feature in the white gold models and some of the stainless steel band versions. Took a bunch of pics of gen Aquanauts from chrono24 and it is all over the place. There is some small line at the 7 in the steel bracelet version, as well as some of the rubber band ones as well. So not an instant “tell” in my opinion.

But that's a platinum version, maybe it's different layout?

Yes bro. My Point is that there are different gen dial batches and nobody can prove beyond doubt what gen variations exist based on looking at internet pictures of the most popular dials. So it’s a non issue for me.

I hate it when some guy at the pub draws red lines on my watch trying to figure out if it’s a rep

Never happened to me. Most of the times I have to navigate attempts to measure it with calipers. I used to be more successful in the old days, but getting physical with someone across the bar who uses an electronic tool and posts instantly on Instagram is much harder these days. New iPhone measurement tool doesn’t help either, I can sense people on the tube trying to measure the lug-to-lug distance while pretending to be reading on their 10x iPhones. Sick people
