How is the Avenger II GMT black steel holding up in terms of scratches? Does it scratch easy?

I really like it and want to order it as soon as my two current orders arrive. I bought a black nylon strap already and ordered a black clasp but someone told me the watch won't last because it scratches easy. I think I still will order but want to know what I can expect..

I’ve had mine since it was first released, like anything if it’s not abused it will be fine. I can barely find a mark on the case, I have more marks on my gen deployment.

Whoever told you it scratches easy is a fool and misguided (unless unless they wear it as a daily beater in this case any watch will scratch).

Thatwatchguy I concur with his observations about the DLC on the Avengers. I’ve had several GF Avengers (GMT, SeaWolf, Blackbird) with the Blacksteel DLC treatment seemed to hold up better than brushed or polished stainless. After having them and wearing them infrequently for a few months, I could not find any scratches or damage. YMMV, Caveat emptor, etc.

Just approved these QC's on my GF blackbird all looks okay. Can anyone confirm this is the latest GF v4? I requested the rubber rather than standard strap.
