Does anyone know if the forged carbon red Avenger GMT is a fantasy model? I cannot find any information on that model.

Looks to be fantasy model, I can't find anything except reps when trying to search anything.

And the date font is correct unlike almost all DLC GMT I have seen

I've never quite understood the whole hubbub over incorrectly stamped references. It's on the back of the watch. We're buying reps here, if you're that concerned about something that no one will see then maybe you should just buy gen. The factories should obviously get it right in the first place, takes about 2 minutes to research these things!

Unless you make it a habit to wear them in front of Breitling enthusiasts who like to pass around their pieces. Then worry about the reference number.

Hi everyone, do you guys think I could pull off an Avenger Gmt on Diver Pro III strap (GF stock rubber) at 6.5 in wrist, rather flat shaped. I know these Breitling straps do run pretty long.

My wrist is 6,75" My favorite size watch is 44-46mm. On occation, I wear a Super Avenger at 48mm.

I have no doubts that the bracelet would fit on me. Very nice watch by the way, that’s the kind of pics that convince you of grabbing that marvel from GF!

Have you ever worn that or other similarly sized Breitling on rubber? I’m looking to wear it as a beater, specifically the SS Gmt black dial, I just would hate to carry that high polished bracelet scratched.

I bought the Breitling Bandit with the canvas/rubber strap to wear as my "beater" over a year ago. It is titanium so the scratches don't show. My other hobby is woodworking and construction so the abuse it takes would make most members cringe. Prior to the Bandit I had a Titanium Tissot I wore as a beater. I was convinced titanium was the way to go.

I've checked the Avenger it's truly awesome, a bit big for my purposes though. I've rocking an aluminum Swatch Irony as my main beater for the past 15 years, it's gone through scuba diving, cliff jumping, saunas, timing flight navigation procedures, bar fights, you name it! icard:

I think it'd be a nice replacement.

In my humble opinion, GF is much better. Every time I bought an ANF watch it was disappointing. I would describe ANF as a third tier maker. The ANF deployant is outstanding. This is the exception. I have bought a couple OMF watches knowing they are not as good as GF but better than ANF.
