i think angus has lowered his price rather than the factory lowering their price in order to be competitive to other dealers like ken. he sells the 44 fc at ken's price.

Actually the factory lowered the price to the dealers is what I heard, not Angus sacrificing his profits to compete with other dealers.
End of the day is cheaper which is good news for all, should never have been more than $700 to start with!!
Greed by some that's all I have to say!

These guys are clever and this is why the new releases are so good - so well gone again on delivering a watch that I consider almost flawless in the sense that it doesn't need any modding out of the box ( that might actually be for the v2 since the case back is wrong and the bezel font needs tweaks).
By the way, I want to tell those flaming anyone discussing the price over the past few days should appoligize! I ve seen a lot of non sense and abuse and we have a right to positive criticism. It drives the rep game forward!
Wether or not there is a link between the price drop and the discussions on the forums - we now have an opportunity to pay a fair price for this beauty!

if indeed factory did the price decrease we could see other dealers like ken give the lower price as well. if not, then we can think angus was dropping to competition. how does angus get motivated to ask factories to create us new models if he prices himself out? i can't see him making much more in pre-order. we just all wait for better prices from other td.

This is the only logical explanation. If enough people went elsewhere for a better price, Angus will have gotten the message loud and clear - he's a good enough business person to know what it takes to compete!

I bet it will fit. I fitted a gen safari and on my v3 diver and the bar slotted like in butter. I tried a black and a blue and they were harder to fit.
Chances are that the bee will be 1:1 just like the diver v3!
