I think the smart phones actually suck the smartness out of your brain through your ear, thats why they are so smart and people unsmarter........
But i think Robbie will have a better explanation, unless of course hes a smart phone user...then we might get the "HUH?"
Its because their Moms and Daddy's have done everything for them all their lives, So in affect we need to blame ourselves or at least some of us do, My Son is finally doing good at the age of 24 he makes more than his Mom , I just got to get him to start saving for retirement and building a good credit history. But of course there is always Mommy that cant put her foot down.

I guess I'm a noob, I got a few reps which I'm very pleased with.
I learned here that a rep should be serviced on arrival since they are notoriously dry. Naively I went to a well known watch repair place which, to my embarrassment, refused servicing a rep.
I called two other places which refused too..
So here is my Q:
(1) Do you know a good place to service a mechanical replica in Israel?
(2) is there a trusted service/repair place which uses mail, meaning, I'll send the watch and get it back via mail, preferably in Europe?
I guess I'm a noob, I got a few reps which I'm very pleased with.

1. Servicing a rep when you first get it is a fallacy. Why service it if it is not broken. Many a veteran member, IF they intend to keep a watch usually will wait until the want to get some thing modded, like a relume or a gen dial and THEN have the modded service the movement as they will have the watch apart. NEVER TAKE A REP TO JEWELER, never.
There is a whole section of RWI endorsed modders here that can take care of most all you ask and more, so look that section over and read up on a modder that sounds good to you and contact them. There are several in EU and that means yes, you will ship your watch off to a modder and the modder will ship it back to you when he has finshed working in it. The time frames is anybodys guess as they ALL are always busy and have a queue.
