ARF tungsten DayDate 40mm

Angle on the bezel teeth is the best I've seen yet, but still off. However, it may be good enough.

I asked the TD that these pics were taken from (theOneWatches) about the weight and was told they don't know for certain as of yet but it should be ~150g. For me, that's a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, with the new movement and the ability to franken, this should be a welcome entrant for many of us.

The watch was originally listed as being tungsten but they later removed that from the description. Hoping it is actually tungsten, but not holding my breathe.

Seems as ARF is trying to get into the Tungsten pieces now. The GMF and JDF versions of the Day Date are from what I have seen circa 167 grams. Still lighter than the genuine but getting closer to yellow gold genuine which is circa 210 grams.

I am waiting for QC pics on the GSF Day Date and the GMF Day Date so I will be able to see which is heavier. I was told that GMF and JDF are same factory.

The recent ARF release of the Yacht Master 2 looked well done as well and about 154 grams, but the KF same version was heavier about 174 grams.

They're weighing in at ~190g as seen on a few threads around here, e.g. this one.

With the best bezel, weight, and day font I've seen yet, I'll be pulling the trigger on this release.

It’s already released, only downside on the YG models is that the gold tone is really off.
No one knows what will happen if you send it off to get plated, just like the full tungsten Daytonas had isssues

Who'd you order from? I've checked around and have had some difficulty sourcing it. Additionally, I've also been told that the current batch is 160-170g and in a few months the 190g versions will be available. Seems to be a good amount of confusion out there about this release.

I am getting it today, i am very hopeful that this will feel more then the GMF version,
Have high expectations of this ARF for that price tag after the plastic is gone I think it’s gonna be 187 grams atleast

Definitely post some pictures. 187g sounds pretty good, close enough to the 200g I think of gen. My coworker has a gen DD and it feels so nice. Been eyeing a rep DD but after feeling a gen the weight is so important. Hopefully this is the answer!
