Guys! Be aware, my watchsmith told me that it can’t even pass the 5Atm test. Whereas all my breitlings / panerais / iwc passed the 10 atm mark without issues out from the box. So i’ll keep this baby away from water and if you want to go swimming with it, i’d suggest you take the test first. Hope this helps

hmm would be nice to know what the reason is.
Normally there could only be the gaskets from back and crown and maybe the HEV.

If these 3 where checked and epoxyed (HEV) and the gaskets be tightened with silicone it should hold up to 10atm

On a serious note.

@Pelagic tested his watch @8atm via home made tester.

Link to his teardown

I sure would like it to be at least 10atm so I can shower with it. After the honeymoon I guess I'll have to send it off to be tested and sealed.

Could he not identify the source of the problem and epoxy that shit? Haha

Maybe it’s the HE valve

I wasn’t very eager to leave him the watch so he can work on it, but he said it could be at the crown, crystal or he valve. The caseback is screwed in perfectly. For the moment, i really don’t mind anyway :)

I’m probably going to ask him to do just that but for the time being i’ll just enjoy it

I ordered with PT as well 12/1 - seems they are quite a bit slower than the other TD's here in getting this watch. Still waiting patiently but probably gonna go another route on my next order. Not sure why PT is taking longer than most to fill orders =/

the tone of the bracelet is very warm and genlike unlike my stock Noob
and also the overall finish and feel is very very similar my friend's gen GMT ii
and also guys do you know how can mark like that happened in the bracelet link ? (my 2nd photo) is it because metal to metal scratch/factory defect or nail scratch ? it also happens on my friend's gen,he has that kind of mark on the bracelet links near the SEL

I get this problem on my hulk, it’s the flip lock clasp that causes the scratch
