Anyone else had the paint coming off the numbers? Any way to fix this?
That's unfortunate, I've seen insert markers get dull or have some paint flake off over time but something this drastic likely had something pretty caustic spilled on it at some point.
The fix is a paint mod, if the black ceramic isn't permanently defaced. I would clean the whole insert with acetone (Goof off) and a worn soft bristle toothbrush. If that doesn't remove all the paint, it should be dug out carefully with a needle point. I use a sharpened jeweler's screwdriver blade held in a pin vise. Then the whole insert can be spray painted with a good quality metallic silver. The paint is then scraped off the insert flats with a razor blade, leaving it in the marker cutouts.
This is a DIY fix. Of course there are other, more expensive options like a replacement rep or gen insert, or a high quality platinum mod by a pro modder like Spongebob.

i have the vrf and a friend got the arf (my one is still on the way)
my vrf runs like very nice and smooth
his arf runs not that wel....he is losing about 3 hours a day...what could it be?
possible to fix that?

Yup, I'm currently waiting on an AR GMT2 since 2 weeks before holiday break. Hoping to see the situation get better soon.

Sounds like an issue with the jumping hour click spring. It should be able to be fixed. It should be serviced and may need some gen parts added.

One good vrf against one bad arf doesn't make one better than the other. It could have happened the other way around

I ordered my watch with PT mid January and I've just received the QC pics. Looks like PT is up and running again, so that's good news!

qwerty84 it‘s not allowed to ask for opinions on QC pictures in this forum unless you have spotted some flaws yourself and want to know the opinion about this from other members.
The watch looks good to me. Markers, especially triangle marker is rounded like gen and is sitting straight.
SELs look good. Only the date is sitting a little bit low in the date window but this is an easy fix. I would definitely accept. You won‘t get a better one.
