Really nice one bro. I took a screenshot so I could zoom in and look at it very closely, something I almost always do. This one is a gem, congrats!

Ahaha thanks KJ and guys, I can't wait to receive it now :)

Tobel that one looks amazing. ARF has nailed the details, and it seems the lugs are better and more consistent than in the past. But the CGs on every single one of these look like someone went crazy with a polishing wheel! They're all too thin and rounded at the edges. Not at all a deal-breaker, since they still look beautiful (to my taste, better than chunky gen CGs) and obviously gens do get over-polished sometimes, but strange that the rest of their finish work is so sophisticated, and this detail is consistently wrong.

I hadn't noticed but I see what you mean, they are a bit on the skinny side indeed. ARF also screwed up the crown guards of their Kermit, like JF previously so I guess it's not a first.

Can anyone advise whether the gen crown guards on a 116710 are supposed to be the same as on a 116610? I don't own a gen GMT but I have a gen sub so if it makes any sense I can do a comparison when I receive it.

Send them a message and they’ll get it for you. Not all stock are shown on TD websites.

Received Batman yesterday but this one is a noob version. Nice the movement no longer use tabs, one side of the endlink sits too high, movement arrived "broken" i had to fix it.

Selling it to a friend and getting another one, insert looks nice.

Anyway...
I leave judging to you guys:

Here are some comparison pics of 6 digit GMT CGs. You can find some gen pics of the 12 series with fat CGs but I've never seen any pics of 11 series with skinny CGs unless there was really serious polishing involved. I think ARF used a 12 series to model its cases, and so far hasn't made a 12 series GMT rep.

Thanks for sharing these details KJ2020

It's actually quite curious that ARF has 126 type crownguards, given that their only releases so far are 116's. The 1st one was even the LN which has no equivalent in 126

Very true bro. It's just one of those things we run into in the rep world. At least there is an equivalent in gen to the ARF CGs, unlike the 16610. I try not to let little things like that keep me from enjoying the overall greatness of a rep. I still marvel at how good these reps are, truly amazing given they probably really only cost about $150 to make. I'm impressed.

So it's VRF for case/movement plus ARF hands/insert?

The VRF rehaut engraving is really rough, so pick your poison. Plus all VRF cases are engraved 126710.

Pics credit SvnNZ

"It's quite rough in comparison with my ZZF V2s sub".

Different case shape, crown at 6, new movement. The movement operates differently, crown position 2 rotating anticlockwise jumps the hour hand forward, position 3 rotating anti clockwise advances hands forward.

Edit: I think the hands are different sizes too but correct me if I'm wrong
