I have a VR3186 ready to swap. I planned on servicing the SH3186 but now I feel
like I should wait for an answer from PT? I dunno. I don’t want lose out on having a running SH3186. What do you think? Go ahead an swap?

I would just swap it. Use the SH to practice on or for parts. I wouldn't choose to use an SH over a VR even if the SH was serviced.

No matter how many times I look at the ARF insert, the blue numbers seems thicker than the black ones. Maybe its my age catching up to me
Maybe CF and Spongebob can improve upon this already great version from ARF.

I'm just annoying picky when it comes to gmt inserts. But maybe it's not nearly as bad as I thought but it looked like the inside loop on the 6 dipped too much. I'll compare a little more closely later.

Looks great! They did a good job on the shade of “blue” on the bezel. Sounds like what happened to my SH movement as well... just died, I couldn’t get it to run again. A service would probably help it, but it would cost you the same to just pick up a VR movement. I swapped my SH to a VR and it’s been running SO NICE! Definitely recommend that (as others have said).

Some sort of debris was caught in the gear train. Once I took the auto winding module off and gave the gear train a little bump it started right up.
