I dont' think I'm going to spend more money on this rep or, better, if I keep it I just want a service in few weeks without any mod.
I know where I'm writing now, and I hope everybody will understand, the watch is gorgeous, but the problem is in my head, I probably don't like the idea to have a fa...ops...replica!
So I go and see if I find a good price for a gen, I think few days, and then I decide whether I keep the rep and just service it or simply try to sell it and buy a gen...

Unfortunately, I do not look Gen for compare I owned Explorer 1 mk1 that leads to the same op39 case.

My father did not understand the differences with either, but in my hand I explained it, and now it has done.

I am going to say that i am just trying to help the person who does not feel the difference. Never mind, I am sorry.

different batches, slight mistakes etc. - and after alot of annoying posts i think you have a point. i can also see and feel a difference between the bp and the arf, bp more "genlike"....arf not as curved as the jf from the photo above..

If you are referring to the last pictures, no.

ARF has better case, better bezel, better bracelet and v2 dial.

I cannot say if the dial has been corrected or not, imho it is too similar to the gen, judge from pics I posted... anyway service and pics of the job ready in a couple of weeks

Thank you Tete, very interesting video. There's no difference to my eyes, except the rehaut. I've checked the rehaut of a gen DJ I have (first time I check it in 10 years), and there's a difference in the engraving. But imho you just have to keep both gen and rep in your hands to realize there's something wrong.
I'll be more precise after the full service I'll do in 10-15 days, but I'm happy with this arf explorer.
