I want to clarify one thing, since this watch has A2824, that means when you change hands of the watch, it moves the opposite way compared to the Gen, correct?

No, gen dj 41's cal 3136 set the time in the same way of an eta 2824

If you see the video here, it appears that the minute hand is going clockwise when the crown is turned CCW. I have a gen sub, and mine turns CW when the crown is turned CW. I don’t know how gen DJ works but assumed that it works same as sub, but no?

Thanks for the video, however I’m skeptical that one of them is gen. I’ve searched youtube regarding this matter, and all the videos I’ve found on how to set time on Rolex show the hands turn CW when the crown is turned CW.
Actually, I just found exact model on youtube, and you are right. It’s very strange that this particular model moves differently compared to old DJs

The Datejust 41 uses a Rolex 3235, and not a 3135 like the older models. The 3235 happens to wind in the opposite direction as the 3135, so like 2824 and 2836. Hence the same as the rep

I have been following the post for some time. I too would like this datejust. But I am undecided with the 36mm ARF with the Sh3135 (V2). I think 36mm with some mods is the one closest to gen. Why doesn't this 41mm have the 3235 rep? Perhaps this new movement is not yet cloned.Surely the 2824 is more reliable, but farther from the gen.

I do not think it is a big deal, how often are you opening the caseback to show people your movement? The 2824 is reliable as could be, and there is no compromise on case dimensions or anything like that. It is just a bonus that the 3235 happens to change the time the same as a 2824 which is about the only tell that anybody should worry about. Maybe it is just me, but I do not get the obsession with having a clone movement, if something breaks you are up shits creek. If a 2824 breaks you can fix with ease.

while the dj arf 36 mm is like the gen (dimensions). with other disadvantages
If it’s gen watch why on the 6 o’clock there is Rolex logo on dial instead of number 30 !??
All the gen dials that I saw don’t have a logo between Swiss made !
I just don’t understand Chinese!
