I believe at this time there is only one option with the ARF DF 41, and that's the A2824 movement.

Thanks for the information, all my reservations were based on the REF which I owed and sold, it also had the issue of the dial text being an of white faded grey. The ARF looks bold and pure white just like the gen.


Some outdoor shots in the sun would be great. I think I'm about to pull the trigger on this!!!

Not that I'm aware of. The only thing you will have to pay are the transfer fees, if you proceed with wire transfer. But they provide you a 5% discount off the total price, which generally covers the price (depends on your bank and method of transfer).

PureTime has had sneaky fees showup after the purchase, which is the reason I don't use them anymore.

Does the use of the a2824 movt make a difference in case and crown position. I know that a lot of people prefer the 3135 mvt not necessarily because it works as gen, but rather because it allows for case and crown position to be more accurate to gen specs.

gen dj41 has a 3235 movement tho..

Here they are. The watch is absolutely beautiful. Except for the DW, ARF really knocked it out of the park with this.

That's a beauty mate... Very gen like... If one can get a gen DW overlay on this it'd be perfect..

Agreed. If I could get a gen DW, or if ARF produced a better DW closer to gen, the watch would be perfect. I keep finding myself staring at the watch and loving the quality of it. Just an amazing watch.

Hey Saxo, I'm going to have my hands full this upcoming week, so I will likely need until the weekend (or the weekend after that) to post additional photos. I'll also aim to get some sunlight shots for reference. If you look at the thread, you'll see photos of the datewheel.

In short, the DW is bolder than it should be. But it's not that noticeable on the wrist. When you look at it close up, you notice it. When comparing it with my buddy's gen, you notice the difference. In my opinion, it's the only tell between the gen. If ARF releases a gen-like DW, then we will have a super rep on our hands (pun intended).

Thank you, brother. And shout out to gilrob for the thoughtful comment. I acquired the watch from Ryan at InTime. I don't blame you for waiting for the Jubilee. I just couldn't wait any longer, and I have a super franken ARF DJ 36 with Jubilee, so I decided to pull the trigger.

Hey guys.
A few picks of my new ARF 41mm Datejust. ...

After owning hundreds of watches; reps and gens (including gen Rolex), this is by far the BEST rep I have ever seen. Finishing on case and bracelet is superb and the bracelet is very supple right out of the box.
Yes, I know the date font is too bold. Perhaps cyclops mag is too great, maybe both. I’ve have Gen Rolex with too small of cyclops magnification which was replaced under warranty.

I generally don’t mod my reps unless they need service. I have no plans for this watch other than to wear and enjoy.
