Same happened to me with my ARF SD43.
Watch arrived and 2824 movement was not working. Had to send it back to the TD. Then finally I got it back working.
When it‘s working the 2824 is a very good reliable movement.
But of course someone can have bad luck with 2824 aswell.

These are QC pictures I accidentally got from my TD, I rejected the watch because at that time I wanted another model but I'm currently buying this model again. I would've rejected the watch nonetheless because of the dw alignment, magnification alignment seems also a bit weird to me... and the rehaut engraving on the left side is wrong I think

DW alignment doesn't seem to be an issue with the ARF, well not the one I have, however, the dial is slightly off. When it comes to it I'll get a gen dial and DW installed.

The gen Datejust41 dials do not have dial feet like the submariner dials. They will fit 'perfect' on an A2824/A2836 without any modification.

yes it's possible. Just modify the movement ring to accommodate the gen dial's protrusions (mount)

That appears to be an entirely different datejust. That appears to be the DJ II, not the ARF DJ 41.

Edit: In fact, I think it is. The ARF does not come with a Jubilee bracelet.
