Thanks man, I didn’t know about the ARF DJ41 until after I purchased the Gen. I could’ve saved 9k , lol.
The clasp is completely different so just be prepared for that. It might mess with the feel and fit if you’re used to the DJ oyster clasp.
Oh. No... It works. I wasn't saying it doesn't work. Just saying it throws off the feel a little. In my opinion. For me, one of the things I like about the dj is thay it's sleek and the dive clasp makes it a little. More hefty. But if that's a feel you like then you're a setm especially if you know what you're getting into and already swapping it out. I do the same on gmt's. But for some reason (again, personally) I just didn't like it on the DJ.Works on an oyster submariner, can't see why it wouldn't work on the oyster DJ. Sure its a bit thicker, but reality is noone see's the bottom of your wrist imo and the glide-lock is just one of those things, once you've had it, you cant go back.
Plus the DJ41 is actually bigger than the Sub... and same weight ontop, I can't see it not working tbh.
I've always added glide-locks to GMT's too, glide-lock life babyyyyyyy
Mate your pictures played a big part in my decision making.
She's a beauty!! Can you share the specs please
The Oyster is my go to, but for some reason I feel the jubilee goes better on the Fluted DJ41. I liked your jubilee pics better
Talking about bracelet, Rolex bracelets feels so boring and cheap after I saw a gen AP Royal Oak and a VC overseas bracelet last year.
Hi guys.
I'm new here and i was looking to buy a datejust rep. I've seen so many photos and read so many post and i think i've decided to buy the ARF Datejust 41mm SS with black dial and jubilee bracelet (this one: https://www.intime05.co/rollie/6766-...let-a2824.html ). Anyone can tell me something more about the DW on this version? and in case i decide to change it with a gen one, is possible to do "at home" or i have to ask some watchmaker? and what can be the price for that?
thank you very much in advance.
Sounds like a good choice with the watch. No, you do not change a DW as easy as you change your underwear so leave it to the professionals. This thread states some modders and info that will answer your questions, please read!

Just ordered this yesterday

Now puretime just relased this

it looks like the same to me. Any thoughts?
Go with what you ordered, but I am pretty sure you will get the newer model (unless there is old inventory) The only change in new (v3) version is coronet at 6. The SELs are better in the older version.
How is the stock movement in this ARF model, the A2824? Anyone who can share any thoughts about it from experience? For example is the movement noisy and a "give away" when you take it off wrist? I am asking because i owned a Tudor BB S&G with A2824 movement and the movement had an issue after a couple of months with time setting.
Along with changing the date wheel is it also recommended to swap the movement? If so, any advice as to which type of movement?
It's fine, will you get an issue? Who knows, these are asian made clone movements. There longevity is questionable.
They are not overly noisy and are pretty damn stable, you might be unlucky, but most likely you won't. If you do ever need to replace it with a gen eta... its a worth while upgrade for quite a small sum of money really.
Don't let the movement put you off. They are decent.
Thanks for the quick reply man. Yor are probably right about the movement. I think its worth buying it and using the watch as your would normally and then if you get any issues with the movement like you say it is worth it to upgrade and replace with gen ETA movement.
Can I just ask another question about this model? Any members here that have swapped the bezel from the fluted to the smooth bezel? Is this a big/expensive job? Reason I ask is that I don't see ARF releasing the 126300 model with the smooth bezel. Personally would consider it is possible to swap the bezel, just because for me it is a little to flashy, and the 126300 with smooth bezel and jubilee gives it a little more casual/sporty look.
