sfbatman787 We are talking about two different watches. If you want to install a 116334 dial then you don't have to modify anything in the movement.

But I don't think the ARF DJ41 case is a good solution to build a DJII. As I said, they are two different watches!

Which one is on the left mate?

My 2 cents...Get the ARF DJ41. Case/Bracelet and build quality is much better than BP. Also it accepts all gen parts including bracelet.

The 116334 Arabic dial fits the ARF case with some mods to dial feet to go on a 2824 movement. Also, the Arabic dial is the only 1163xx dial (they are the old Datejust II dials) with chromalight lume, so it goes well with the ARF hands.

Regarding crystals - I have never used Clark. There is no substitute to gen, nothing matches Rolex crystal quality. I have used Prof crystals on APs, he is the only alternative I would consider (and he does make the b25-318-c2-c1 crystal)

Good luck with your build!!

ahh...Prof is the other crystal i was thinking of that i could use instead of gen, but couldnt remember the name.

I was really hoping I wouldnt have to buy a whole new watch....oh well, thanks stimulus check :)

You are right, The gen Rolex Arabic 116334 dial (which has blue CL lume though) watch came with hands that had green lume. But since dial has CL lume, you can get hands with blue too.

That green hands-CL numerals is awesome combo

Stock arf and looks amazing imo

I'm partial to the rhodium dial because I'm building out a grey Rolex collection;
got the noob 116519, next is the arf DJ rhodium, then the Wimbledon, then I want to build the 6263 argente dial.

However this blue dial seems too good to pass up! The dilemma is real!!

The blues look better in pictures than they do in real life. In real life the Rolex blue's arent as good.

Submariner LB - Bluesy blue is far better than the datejust in my opinion.

I have a gen blue... and I was disappointed in the blue. I still like it... but the pictures make it look WAY better.

Go for Rhodium / silver imo.

amazing sunburst

Classic!! Keep wearing in good health mate!!

BTW, the blue dial for me keeps changing color a lot. I do agree that blue looks a bit nicer in pics than real life. You have to have full sunlight to enjoy the blue hues. Whereas my Rhodium shines even on a cloudy day (blue becomes dark in cloudy day).

Thanks bro
and yes i must agree that blue keeps changing color a lot and dial never looks bad but sometimes look much better ,when i was purchasing i was about 50:50 with blue and rhodium and if i would again choose between blue and rhodium i wouldnt know which to choose really, maybe rhodium because ive never had it
but i like both blue and rhodium more than any other of datejust
