I am also awaiting QC photos for my ARF DJ 41mm with black dial from Sead. Two questions:

1. Is the bezel flaw very common in the latest ARF batch and is it reason enough to decline and ask for another one?

2. the Rolex crown issue: so a line under the crowns is correct instead of 2 dots? And how does ARF crown look?

I ordered a ARF DJ 41 with fluted bezel, jubilee and black dial last weekend with Sead, (also DJF DJ 36mm), payed with TransferWire, money should arrive today at his bank account, will let you know once I receive QC photos...

It depends on the person.
I took mine with bezel ugly, because the rest of the watch was perfect for me.
Now he is in a coffin waiting new ARF Bezel Fluted (68$) and Gen Bezel Smooth (600€)

Does it make a huge difference to get a gen smooth bezel?
I understand to get the complex fluted structure right is a hard task and even then reps are not made of Real Gold.
The smooth bezel on the other hand is made of steel anyway afaik and i can hardly imagine it's so hard to get right. Really curious about if this Upgrade is really worth it.

I got lucky with the DW and for me it is ok too and focused.
The Silver dial is as close to gen in terms of color and light shine.
I prefer the blue dial, but the light reflects too much and REP looks.
Black hole can not tell so much silver dial.
Maybe later setup chrystal gen.

Do not be confused. The watch is great, some are coming with bezel and crowns diatintos all wrong.
You just have to know how to accept or not accept the QC.
