Are you sure a gen DW which uses a 3235 movement can be mounted on a 2824 movement?
I think it looks ok.
The only problem to my eyes are bold DW font and the Sel.

I'd say the (fluted) bezel is the biggest problem since it takes about 0.1 milliseconds to see that it isn't white gold :no:
not sure if you can fit gen dw on a clone ETA. the super clone 3135 sure. but not sure eta.
I don't think the SEL is bad, but perhaps it's because of the lighting which makes it look bad?
If you look closely at this picture, the lugs do extend a bit beyond the SEL, and the SEL is nicely recessed
and from the back, the SELs are shorter than the lug extension

Are you referring to the 36mm DJ or 41? I can't speak about the 41, but I know the 36mm DJ accepted DW.
Is DW the only issue? Sorry- I am flying right now and it is hard to load photos with this week wifi.
Was really hoping for a nice blue dial DJ41 from ARF, hope the DW is the only issue as that can be fixed. I did see another note about the SEL, but that never really bothers me....
First they screw up with the date wheel, poor SEL, no jubilee bracelet and not the preferred movement, then the TD increased the price??? What are they smoking??
Boycotting this until they sell a worthy watch that is worth the price, especially with shipping and the hidden exchange rate cost is so high. Shouldn't have to be paying over the odds for a fake watch with more faults than a $60 Timex. Why settle for so many flaws?

Hi, yes that is what I meant on the DJ 41. I know members have modded their 36mm ARF DJs.
The DW is the main issue, however if that can be swapped out it would look good enough.
Also not sure how big of a deal the movement is or if anyone would notice the watch not flicking date immediately at 12 o clock.
Any experts please chime in.

I've asked Angus when the jubilee bracelet will be made available and he replied that he would check. I'll keep you guys informed as soon as I get a reply.
the good news is its so ez to put in a GEN eta 2836 in the future. you will hvae the instant change and a gen movement at 28800bph. Also, with a Gen ETA you will have smaller font and it will look more like the gen wheel.
look at the ARF submariners and see the clone 3135 dw vs the clone eta ones. the eta ones have the proper dw. I dunno why they dont just put that in this one as well.
