I have it too. Very useful.

Really?

Personally it's too big, its a 5mm adjustment. I think it's a complete waste of time to be honest. From my experience with large wrists 8.2" if I open easy link the 5mm is too big. It should have been more like 2 or 3mm. No idea why Rolex chose 5mm really.

For me the 5 mm are perfect.

So my hour hand doesn't completely align with a few indices at the :00 mark. It's 6:00 here and you can see the hour hand isn't really aligned with the 6 o clock index.

Is this something worth complaining about to my TD? Or am I being too anal? Can a watchsmith fix this?

That's completely normal... maybe 0.1mm too far over for the time but really... that's just how mechanical watches work. I think if you complain to a TD about that, you'll find that you won't be placing many orders with that person/TD again...

Plus that's like 4 x macro zoom... no way you're noticing on your wrist.

I can't honestly believe that you would think this is a problem. It's quite ridiculous.

It's pretty obvious on my wrist and just as noticeable as it is there. I have a few other reps and even my Parnis watches have aligned markers with the hour and minute hands. This is new for me especially for my most expensive rep yet. And I didn't say I would inquire about this to my TD, I was asking for opinions. No need to be rude.

That would annoy me too, but it’s easily fixed by a watchmaker. If it’s the only issue, I’d be inclined to accept and have it fixed. If there are other issues eg dwo alignment and sel fitment, I’d be inclined to pass

Thanks for the reasonable response. I THINK everything else is okay. There's one particle of dust on the dial but if I can get the hands fixed by a watch maker I'm sure that's an easy job to take care of too. SEL seems fine, there's a tiny gap on the top left but that's probably within tolerance. Can you explain what dwo alignment is? Not familiar with that.

edit: oh date wheel alignment. yeah sel and datewheel are both good. thanks again for your input.

About 100 euros

Would you say it is worth servicing the clone 2824-2 that includes silencing the rotor for 200 dollar?
The power reserve on the watch is not that good I think, and the crown is really stiff to wind.

Does anyone know if the ARF jubilee bracelet is made to fit each unique watch it is made for and will not fit as good on other watches if I'm sourcing one? :)
I'm considering on sourcing a jubilee bracelet, but I don't want one with bad SEL gap etc. So I'm not sure if I should order a new watch / try find one on M2M or source a jubilee bracelet.

For 200 you can buy a orig 2824 movement.

Can the fluted bezel be removed and rotated and placed back? I have a very tiny hairline scratch on the bezel at 12 o clock but it wouldn't be as noticeable at 6. Is this possible?

Or, since for some reason I can't edit my post, can I source a replacement fluted bezel by arf factory through my TD in a year so once it gets really banged up?

Not sure about that, but I guess the best answer would be to just ask your TD?

Will do, takes a couple days so I was trying to see if I can get a faster answer. I was also really trying to ask if the fluted bezel is even removable, or if it's just part of the case as one structure.

It’s removable. The gen is two parts from memory, retainer then the fluted bezel snaps on with a hytrel gasket. I’m pretty sure given ARF’s track record with pretty close to gen bezel constructions it would be this way.
