Still waiting. I have all the exterior parts ready for franken rep :(

Just go with an SH3135 with GMT parts it Works and gmt parts cost around 600-800 bucks compared to the gen movement.Highly doubt that they gonna release the movement anymore. They are working on 3285 who knows.

What about the hands and dial? Will an SH3135 fit the ETA case?

Nope stem hight is off .You need A3186 case from Noob,BP or GMF so you can fit franken SH3135 or Gen Movement.

But does a GMT case exist for the SH3135?

Gen 3185 calibre is based on 3135.It has same mounting holes same goes with SH3135 it has same mounting holes as 3185 and 3135. I remember it like that but inorder to be sure it would be good idea to get in contact with one of modders in this forum.

The internals of the case and offsets are compatible, but the actual case exterior and design is not! All 3135 rep cases have less metal than the GMT so its not possible to add metal to make a 3135 rep in to a GMT.

Only thing you need to transform an 3135 to 3185 6 gmt parts that can be purchased on the ebay, chrono24 etc around 600-800 and thats it. There are threads about it please do some research.

I get that, but the case is actually different on a GMT, there is no way one can buy a 3185 case on its own, is there?

You can ask our TDs about it and see what they can do about it.

There is one thing few people know about. GMT and Explorer II use identical case. If that helps...

So are you suggesting that cases supporting a gen style movement (SH3135 or whatever) are not as gen like on the exterior as cases supporting clone Eta (A2836) movements?

There is no GMT MII Ceramic Case with SH3185 as far as I know.

Unless someone can say otherwise?

I actually give up!

If you want a proper GMT just get get in contact with TDs and ask them to source you an Noob A3186 case and bracelet(guessing that you already have a dial gen or rep doesn't matter same thing goes for the hands aswell but when you get an gen hands and rep dial or gen dial and rep hands heck gen dial and gen hands more than likely lume is gonna be different so you have to get them relumed aswell) .Gen DW it would be nice and You have to get an prof crystal or gen one because stock is decent but its not onpar compared to those options.Get an SH3135 and GMT parts for around 800 bucks and it would be nice to get an gen insert or you can get your rep insert platinum plated and changing pearl would make it look much more better. After you sourced all those things send the movement and the parts to the one of the trusted modders in this forum and enjoy your watch when you receive it back.Just sit back, relax and enjoy it.Sometimes it takes more money to get an proper watch to please and satisfy yourself. Just don't forget that you are paying fraction of the cost compared to gen.

Hope this is ok to post this here, i have been waiting and collecting gen parts for this watch to come but since it is not showing up... I was wondering, if i was to go for the noob version 116710ln would it be a good idea to invest in a gen dial ?

I know it’s not a batman but a here is a picture of my gen dial and hands on noob CHS movement:

It’s a big improvement over stock rep. I also used gen crystal. The DW is stock and is good enough.

Gen hands fit on rep CHS movement with no additional pants, modder says it wasn’t easy tho.
