Trusty is not a TD for many reasons. That watch is listed as GMF but the watch in the video is a BP. BP insert sucks, DW also sucks.

Hopefully gonna happen with ARF at least that's what I been waiting for all year

I recently bought a watch from Trusty, I thought it was excellent, date alignment on all numbers is absolutely perfectly aligned, the ceramic bezel is not painted and the engraved bezel numbers look powdery like gen. Only slight issue is the misaligned cyclops (whos is not?). Everything else thats way harder to sort is IMO excellent.

Which ARF Sub do you mean is the best out of the box?

for me the arf submariner 116610LN with 2824 movement is at the moment the best out of the box submariner

I think that any CHS GMT has the same issue. I will eventually franken this with a gen 3186, crystal, hands and dial. Everything else is really nice.

And the ICHS are better aesthetically?

Dont quote me on this, but the ICHS versions are harder to Franken due to the incorrect crown alignment, it sits lower in the case?

I dont have an ICHS to compare against, but this GMF from Trusty is gorgeous, also very easy tell its 904l as its a pig to polish!!!

I think the insert looks ok actually, its something that I don't think needs to be changed for me to feel confident wearing the watch and being called out on it.

If I were to say its a 50/50 Gen one I built myself with all the correct parts, people who call me on it will appreciate it and see value instead of it being a fake.
