I now have the new sh3135 that in my opinion has quite a few flaws. Does anyone know if someone here could do that crown tube grinding business? If I knew I could I would probably sell the 3135 and buy another 2824 and have that work done.

interaktiv has modified mine, an 2824 though, and replaced with a gen crown sitting lower

I am going to order a ARF Sub LN 2824.
What should i pay attention to with regard to the flaws when i get the qc?

There are 'flaws' on every single rep.
QC pictures are NOT for you to find 'flaws', but for you to verify that it is the same watch that you ordered and there is NO defect.

No rep is perfect, i know. But on qc you can see obvious flaws which you can avoid if necessary.
Could you tell me the possible flaws from the arf?

Bezel numbers not centred, Pearl not centred, cyclops not straight, rehaut not lined up, date wheel offset, hands not set correctly on the hour.

Most are barely noticeable, especially on the wrist.

I'm wondering how else out of the TDs can source and mod outside of BK? I see he does a wonderful job with the Noob v9 sub-c in both black and green, but would the ARF be better now vs the noob v9 even with BK's adjustments?

BK’s mods are not really necessary on this or the Noob v9. He has used the same text / list of mods since the Noob V5 or something. Reps have come a long way since then and so has the reliability of asian movements.
