ARF 114300 White Dial Pictorial REP / GEN Comparison.

My friend asked me to get this watch, He wanted try out the rep before deciding on going Gen or not. After trying it He decided he liked it enough to go Gen. So now it’s back in my hands I took some pictures of it and grabbed some Gen pics from the inter-web to compare it to. Watch will be for sale after this is posted as he wants his money toward the real deal.

Biggest tell seems to be the "ROLEX" on the dial, on the rep the letters are spaced slightly further apart. Aside from that it looks amazing, love the clean look

A big tell if you know what you're looking for is the vertical spacing between ROLEX and oyster perpetual, but that's only really tellable when you have a GEN and rep side by side.

If they fix that, man it will be really unjustified to buy a GEN 114300.

Is the clasp firm or does it make a sound when you touch it? My JF has this problem, clasp seems to not be completely firm.

Question: How big does the white dial look? From what I hear white tends to make the watch look bigger than they are thus I'm leaning towards black or purple. I have so many damn black watches already though.

There is nothing wrong with spacing of ' ROLEX' , it is the gap between ROLEX and OYSTER PERPETUAL which is incorrect . I think this is quite noticeable and front and centre on dial . Which is a shame , on what seems to be another JF/ARF super rep this aside . I think I will wait till they sort the gap before I buy one .

Agreed. Close that gap and I can’t see why you’d spend 4k on the Gen

Damn that's tempting Might have to pick this one up.

It was either this or the datejust 36, but atleast with the perpetual I don't have to dish out 150 for a date wheel
