Thinking about selling off my arf sub for one of these Has anyone compared the black dial to Gen? How far off is it?

Looks cool, just like my JF. What really bothers me, are the SELs. The rest of the watch is perfect, but the gap at the endlinks is killing me everytime i look at it

Wondering if I could get some feedback on this one. Dial markers look to be touching the rehaut on the top portion of the watch. Debating on whether that flaw is worth asking for another one.

yeah, dial is not seated right, usually easy fix but i'd ask for another

TD is stating that they are all like this. They showed me another sample that was a little better but the rehaut was off.

tbh, i think arf dropped the ball on these version 2. they all have problems. unless you really need to have black, the jf batch is still floating around you can still find them used.

Every time I see them pop up someone beats me to it. Black is a must have for me too. The only real flaw I see in the watch (outside of the spacing defect which should be easily fixed) is the spacing between Rolex and Oyster Perpetual. Still though, its not really noticable if you don't know what youre looking for. Plus I eventually plan on putting a gen dial on this thing with some gen hands. Figure the whole thing including service and reversing wheels should be around $1200.
Might take a long time to find a gen dial though.

The more I look at it the more I think it will be ok. As for the QC pics, the crown when screwed down faces up, all the markers are aligned, rehaut is perfectly aligned, bracelet looks great and the movement is giving healthy readings.
The only downside is the dial is a quarter of a millimeter too high which should be easily fixed. *knock on wood. I'll keep you all posted. Just ordered a $20 case back opening tool off of amazon to adjust it when it gets here.

White looks good, black sunburst is a little shiny for sunburst, Rolex has two dials for the black and the white ones, one with larger hour markets at 3/6/9 and smaller ones through out. And one with all the same size hour markers. The grey and grape look amazing.
