A few days is the most I've ever had an overseas package "stuck" through ISC NY. I've also avoided any import taxes, even when declaring full value on high priced items. The same cannot be said regarding Fedex and import duty.

Are watches treated differently than other products at ISC New York (USPS) Customs?

Was this some other product, or was it a rep watch? How long did it say ISC NY before it randomly showed up at your house?
It was a rep watch a few years back.
If it makes you feel any better the other for my lume binder has the exact same status since Sunday as the watch and neither has had any updates. The lume binder was from Colorado too.
There’s most likely a delay in everything bc of the recent hurricane.
Hell, if customs seizes it, at least you get another watch. They take mine, it’s money down the drain. ????
Seriously though. I wouldn’t worry. It’s happened to many people before you. NY is just slow. Replica watches is small potatoes to them. Like I said before, they’re looking for bigger fish to fry.

Finally got an update on mine. Saying it would be delivered later today.
The tracking number stayed at NY until just now so that could be what’s going on with yours. USPS’ tracking system just sucks.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. The only thing that makes me anxious (and the reason I started this thread), I have been ordering, rep wallets, sunglasses, bags from aliexpress/dhgate since 2015 and each and every item has sailed through ISC NY in a day or less. every single time.
Yea. I think the hurricane slowed some stuff down on the east coast. Mine still came through in time. Just didn’t get any updates until it was about to be delivered.

So today is day 30. I just called customs and the lady had to look up my package and she said someone would call me back to tell me what is going on. She asked the contents of the package. I said "a watch" just like my TD instructed me to say. She asked what the brand of the watch is, I said, "its a generic Chinese watch". Obviously wasnt going to say Cartier.

nope, no one from customs called me back, I will call then again tomorrow morning.
so the usps site showed it went to customs, then no more updates until it was actually delivered?

In case anyone is wondering...today is day 38, still at ISC NY. I called customs, the lady didnt even look my tracking number up, she said, "if we've had it for this long, then its probably been seized". This has been a terrible experience for my first ever rep purchase.
Sorry man. I have a watch stuck in customs going on 2 weeks now. I’ve had one watch seized before and it took them 8 months to send me the letter. My td did replace the seized watch free of charge so it all worked out in the end but its still shitty what customs puts you through.
8 Months?? So you had to wait that long before your TD sent you a replacement? Do you get it shipped to the same address after a seizure or should you use a different one? Your address doesnt get flagged does it?

My td wouldnt replace the watch until i sent him a copy of the letter. Just to be safe I wouldn’t use the same address again after this recent possible seizure. Isc new york handles a million packages a day and its too big of a coincidence to have a second watch seized in a year without some kind of red flag popping up on my address.
Then again its possible that the sender is flagged and my td needs to change it up if he hasn’t done so
Well, I have an update since August 18th, it said inbound into customs, processed by ISC New York.
Now after 35 days, it no longer says ISC New York, that bit is gone, now it says: Your item is being processed by United States Customs.
Does that mean its seized?
