I know this may be a stupid question, but I am really curious to see if there any factories out there tried to replicate any of the mechanical wonder of the HYT H1 or H2?

I did try doing some research with google, but I am checking here because there are TOP veterans out here, and I trust RWI..

Thanks

A resounding no. It's prohibitively cost-ineffective to replicated a non-standard movement. They stick to 3-hands and chronos as those movements are commonly available for cheap.

Never - too complicated to produce, they would have to develop all new technology to replicate it which is cost prohibitive.

I've been wondering about this, too a while ago and did some research, but it seems it's like it was mentioned already, the factories are very unlikely to to invest the tremendous amount of money to develop or obtain the technology which is required to manufacture H1/2s. It's a bummer, though.

There is the video posted in trustytime and the white dial with the blue color "water" looks cool. BUT I don't know how to read the hour at all. So different from the gen, and yet price is like a PF Patek

Ahmmm. Excuse me guys, have a look at this HYT H1 Iceberg. No, I was not one of the 50 energy sector or housing crash profiteer tycoons who lined up to buy this instead of, oh I don't know, an Audi a6 with premium leather package, and all options maxed out, or the Hasselblad H6d-400 with 3 high end lenses, or... you get the idea, my income bracket instills in me the desire for practicality, with an eye for the upper end of fashionable consumption, but still in the practical category. I need to use it, or at least think of some relatively important task it would assist in. The HYT, aside from its notoriety for moving liquid around in a mechanical watch, fails to impress in its capacity to assist in accomplishing an otherwise difficult task. It's a luxury pure and simple. The less practical, the more appealing to the CEO types who are drawn to its Americana Industrialist motif and the "achieve the impossible" self-congratulatory smugness it conveys.

To me it's a unique piece that seems to lack in a category of aristocratic refinement that many other brands are very shy to stray even slightly from, the obvious concern of setting off the snarky pissyness of its usual clientele (Hublot, AP, are in the HYT camp of brave departures from the expected Cartier/Rolex monotony which like NYC Italian restaurants religiously adhere to the "change nothing" ideology). The HYT goes a step further than the Hublot or AP, and sort of claimed the same niche of unsophisticated luxury that a good steakhouse claims in food service -- everything is high priced, with a $200 martini on the menu for the man with the HYT (I would love to see a woman festoon her signature style with one of these, but odds are I won't) and nothing on the menu with a difficult to pronounce name for the monolingual anglophone. This preemptive genius of removing potential traps which could expose limited sophistication and the sycophantic championing of common sense is the HYT signature style, and also the formula for a successful steakhouse in Manhattan. Bold, obvious, irrefutable, confident... Michael Douglas in Wall Street, or please forgive me for this, Donald ( ∫· ı_ı ( |{ ! ı√ (¬ ) Trump! Do you see what I mean? Although now that I am picturing his gold Versace sofa pillows and water glasses, I think that HYT lacks the needed tackiness to win over the Donald.

This watch is not for everyone

link with photos, once I figure out how to post photos, I will post directly, soorry for noob PITA

I know I offended at least a couple of people. I am overwhelmed by grief. A grown man close to tears. I admit I shot from the hip and didn't research the right way to do things.

Please accept my apology. There was nothing shady intended, Just a naive enthusiasm to share my resources.

This forum is very important for me, I can't believer I rushed in so foolishly.

I dont know what the hell I'm doing, I am truly sorry, I knew I should wait instead of making mistakes, but went ahead and did it anyway.

Innocent mistakes, I honestly lack experience and have enthusiasm like a teenager. I'm going to do my best to study up on etiquette and in a month or two contact you again.

Please allow me to improve, and not ban me forever. I will only use 1 account, never try to sneak in. I promise. This is 100 % alien to me, I really don't have a clue how to approach this and basically do what everybody else does: read, look, and sell. Those are my only objectives, I have nothing underhanded or dishonest I want to do. I would be happy to send my identity documents to you, professional references, and business license.

Looking back on the posts I made, which seemed logical to me at the time, now seem really rude and probably deserving of the reaction I got. I feel like a jackass and will keep this short. I will go and find the "idiot's guide to internet forums" or whatever is out there.

My social skills basically suck, and I understand close to nothing about this.

My ebay handle is Marknmartin on the Canada ebay site, I have been a member since the '90s. 700+ feedback, 100%.

*** PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP ON ME! I FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND NEVER REPEAT MISTAKES.
I still haven't found a "here's what you do if you want to ..." guide about forums.

Mark King

If anyone can please suggest reading materials, videos, ANY "Guide to forums" "WHat not to do" etc. This is a sincere request. I have close to no experience. Bull in a China Shop.
