Got my 15400 , am I correct in assuming it's not a new one as there isn't the RG stamps on the caseback as in the pictures sharkey posted.

I'm not really too fussed either way as I'm really impressed with this, looks so much better in hand than pictures. Its about time I had an AP back in my collection !

The only thing I can criticise on the new batch of TF 15400s is that the bezel screw slots are slanted and not at right angles to the edge of the screw. This is a problem with some of the JF ROOs as well. I hope they get a better supplier of screws in future batches. The slanted screw slots appear in some of the screws in all of the QC photos so far displayed here.

Good eye. Didn't realise that. Coupled with the bigger bezel screws compared to gen, it's quite a tell too.

I feel that for the 15400, the only good job that they have managed is the bracelet, it looks scaringly close to gen.

I have to say that in actual hand the watch looks really good apart from these flaws compared to the previous versions. Many also have said about the blue dial being the biggest tell but it's actually not so obvious in hand. In pictures yes.

I got QC pics from Toro a week ago, can't tell if it's from the new batch or not, he said it would be. But since then I haven't heard from him, aint responding to my mails either, but Ill get you a picture when I know he got my confirmation. Should I be worried? He is a TD after all.

I think on the outset they do look similar because it's not a new version or anything. However some noticeable differences would be improvements to the bracelet and dial ( alignments, markers ), clasp, bezel screws may look more recessed. If you had ordered recently where most of the stock have been sold out what you're gonna get anyway would be the new batch, don't worry

If you put it like that yes but thn again you could look at it this way... Where there aren't many blue dials in the wild and also it looks different at differing angles of light. It's hard to tell right on actually. Unless you're an expert like some of the ap members here or one of the few out of a thousand that can have "the" eye for it

Honestly.. if I am much skilled in swapping the crystals, I would have gone for Guru's new run of AR crystals...

I just don't have the confidence opening up such a lovely watch!

This blue dial TF 15400 from the new batch is not so shiny, my friends:

That looks decent! I prefer an matt textured look for blue dials. Really not a fan of the sunburst look

Looks like the new batch of 15400 do not have the White line between the A and the P on the dial logo. This is what i've seen from the 2 watches in qc pics i had, and what the TD told me. Can someone confirm it?

So, basically this TF New batch is still better than the newest 15400 V6F?

My QC didn't look like it has the white line either but once received, it is there. Just not as noticeable.

I finally received my QC Pics for the TF Engraved Best Edition Silver Dial on Bracelet. I have waited over 4 weeks....

I rejected the first QC pics because:

1. AP Logo was badly out of alignment
2. 3 o'clock hour marker was BADLY out of alignment (I mean almost diagonal)
3. AP Logo DID HAVE white line between A and the P

I was terribly disappointed. I don't understand why the TD would even show me this watch it was so badly flawed....but I understand they show what the factory gives them...

A one eyed, Noob with cataracts could see this watch was unacceptable. I was told this was from the newest batch from TF.
I will update when I receive my second set of QC pictures.
