Any suggest on rubber strap for this 5168? It's difficult to source 22mm rubber strap for aquanaut, most of straps available are 21mm which fit for 5167

Oops
forgot to add photo

Aside from lots of reports of the clasp not meeting, isn't that the incorrect clasp for a 5168? Shouldn't it be as below.

@Tomj87 good catch! How was this missed for so long? Is this clasp unique to the 5168 and if so I wonder if the factories will ever produce it?

It's an expensive watch for someone to have to hand to compare rep/gen side-by-side, and there's very vew photos on the Web, of the deployant on the PP models.

Aside from the 5168, this also comes as standard on the 5968.

It'll also fit the 5164, 5167, 5650, but is not standard to those models.

I mean frankly who cares? it's the underside of a clasp... if they're looking at this part, they can see the movement. That's not right either. Seems like a real non-issue to me.

Here is a watchbox review of the 5168. The 3K clasp is period correct on the blue dial. The one you have in photos is probably a newer update (or maybe exclusive to the green dial).

Interesting and good to know. I have the blue dial as reviewed.

Let’s also not forget the gen in WG :) which is a more obvious tell than the clasp in my opinion.

Quite right. I'm talking to Nikz about WG plating a 5296 at the moment. WG plating of the 5168 will be much trickier due to the brushed and polished surfaces.

Did anyone try

buystrap.com

?

They offer both the green and the blue 22 rubber for 5168.

Wondering if the green one has the real khaki color.

I don't think ZF have a current rep of the 5168, so I was surprised to see buystrap.com listing a ZF version of the strap.
