Nope. Stock V3 ZF.Now that's an amazing dial, Won't be surprised if it's gen
15202 with a 9015 based movement is invincible compared to the 15xxx series with 3120/4302 clones any dayRegarding reliability, would you advice the 15202 rather than the 15500?
This may be a bit of a silly question but I recently got some QC of the V3 and noticed at least on the date shown the date sits a little lower than expected? Is this a common issue, a non-issue, or easily address when servicing?
In general I’m curious if there are specific things I should be looking out for too. I’m aware QC in general here is frowned upon so I won’t post anything here. Otherwise the watch looks quite good.
Bezel screws are Ok. Date looks misaligned but it might partly be because of the angle. Ask for more pics of different dates. Thanks for the response, in that case I’ll attach a link of a front facing view of the piece in question eBoy. Not sure why but attaching photo/url directly on mobile is giving me issues.
If anyone could tell me if the configuration of the datewheel is within reason or perhaps a problem that would be great. If it’s easily fixable I plan on servicing it regardless so it is far from a deal breaker to me personally.
The screws seem OK but I’m not sure if photo is creating an illusion where some look raised but aren’t. Looking at things terribly hard can for sure make you imagine or worry over silliness you’d otherwise never clock.

@zerodreamy I meant the bezel edge at the bottom is wider, sorry. My "official" take on this:
Well, it does look a bit misaligned, at least on this photo, from this angle. But here's the thing: It's very hard to tell if the photo is 100% frontal. I have a well-aligned date wheel on mine, but I bet I could "recreate" that photo. I think it's well possible that it's just the angle.... Perhaps ask the TD to take 3 or 4 more photos of a few more different days and tell them to position the camera as frontal as possible, if you feel unsure...
Here's my personal take:
Personally, I'd GL this. Why? Because I think that the bezel edge gives away that the camera's angle is definitely below the watch. If you look at the top edge, and compare it to the bottom edge, you can tell that it's about twice as thick on top vs the bottom. This is in sync with the edge from the date frame. The edge to the top is a few millimeters wider, while at the bottom, the date touches the border/edge of the date frame. I think that it's pretty much even.
Why the two different takes?
Because the final decision is yours. I can't make the decision for you.
It's no problem at all, thanks very much you. I got a head-on shot that was a bit more precise than the one I linked to. It is nearly identically positioned regardless of the slight tilt discussed here.
With that said, I went and asked for different dates as well and the opinion of the dealer since frankly they see more rep 15500s than I ever will. Again, not sure if this is something that can be remedied during servicing or an issue with printing like you guys have mentioned. I'll let you guys know how it goes!
Thanks again to both of you for the help! Fingers crossed.
Well. I don't say this lightly, but if it's really as bad as you say it is, I wouldn't want to wait until this is fixed by a watchmaker and just RL the watch.
I still think I would've personally GL'ed it, but to be perfectly honest, I'd obviously regret it if it turned out to be not just the camera angle...
A replica watch should be compared to the gen counterpart, it’s a lot more apt. Don’t forget the price difference too.
A lot of guys buy the rep and start complaining about how it does not measure up to the gen. But of course, they always neglect to mention to mention the price difference which is rather salient.
If you think that the Michael kors performs better why not get it? Or if you want a true AP why not get it? Like I said reps will come with its fair share of joys and issues. Part and parcel of the game.
