AP15400 Rose Gold Question??

A photo of my RG watch with signs of plating wear. Its about 1 year old...
You can see from the crown guards there is a slight darker contrast colour, and some scatches around the case which also took out the plating... I presume. Looking to replace the case soon.
I didnt really take care of it at the beginning, wore it like a daily beater. But now I start to be more cautious ever since ive attained the 15400, which is literally a scratch magnet.
