Mine arrived, looks fantastic. Too bad it is a little too big for my small wrist...
I would definitely buy another of these thinner quartz if they made a smaller size!

In term of "gen-like" aspect and finishing, can we compare it to JF 15400/15450 ? Or are they in 2 completely different leagues ?

The crystal on the Quartz version is not as clear as JF (big difference IMO).

The bracelet finishing is comparable to JF (both are a little rough around the edges but JF feels marginally better).

The Quartz dial and date wheel look "cheap" compared to JF.

JF dial and hour markers have a better sparkle IMO.

JF bezel screw fit and finish is amazing.

Just ordered the blue one from Sead, my first rep here at RWI I have 40+ gen watches, most expensive ones around the sum of €1K (e.g. a few Omega Dynamics). Being a real watch-addict like many of you here always yearning for a few high-end watches but did not win the lottery yet (there's always hope).
Started off with this quartz 15202, next on the list a 5711 BP v1 or MKF4 and a PAM512. I have small wrists like 17cm. Thanks for this great site guys, I learned a lot from all of you.

Hi,

I received my AP Royal Oak 39mm quartz today, am very happy with it. Ordered it from Sead on Dec 10th, got the QC pics on the 15th and received the watch including triangle shipping today the 29th. Overall I am very happy with the whole process, good communication and shipment super fast.

I know this watch has big flaws compared to its gen brother the 15202. But still, for $150, look at it, it's awesome.

I made some pics after I got the package, I post them here now. Again, I'm very happy with it, it wears great on my wrist even though I have small wrists (17 cm). I took out 5 links.

Next on my list, the Nautilus 5711 BP v1 Godfatha recommends (GF is such a motivator, thanks!). After that I'll go for the RO 15450 37mm as well.

I didn't know there is a new dial? I guess you mean with 'Automatic' written on it?
Either way, I am very happy with my watch, wore it all day, very comfortably I might add

Its the normal dial i think he refered to the 15400 versions (maybe wrong thread?)

Overall very happy with it...the bracelet needs an oil bath and the watch needs good clean as its a little grimy. This is a good candidate for a nice 2ar crystal upgrade.

This post to show the great quality of the first version of the 15202 quartz bracelet, unfortunately they changed them in the newest batch.
Anyway, I ended up using the bracelet of my blue 15202 quartz on the 15300 I bought, as the bracelet that comes with the 15300 is really bad :/
The links are thicker and the edges are rounder, it looks plump and cheap. The 15300 is a great watch and with the quartz bracelet it looks awesome (well, to me anyway, I know it has flaws).
