AP Royal Oak 39mm Quartz

Sead has a great looking super thin 39mm quartz he just announced for under $150. These look great, but I cannot find anything on them online and was wondering if they are fantasy models.

Anyone know?

Not a fantasy model. Just a not very well done 15202 with a quartz movement for cheap costs. No centre seconds and closed back means Quartz can easily be used instead of a mechanical movement.

But AP does use Quartz movements in the Lady Oak.

Its the Audemars Royal Oak extra thin, an aniversary watch without second hand! The gen comes only with a blue dial. The rep is wonderfull with same size and thickness like the gen worth 24k€. Only difference is the missing "Automatic" sign on the dial and the closed back. There is a very good running Miyota quartz movement in it. You can't see from outside that it is a quartz. Its my favorite dayli beater a nice eyecatcher.

That looks fantastic , especially for $150. How thin is it, if its same as gen im going to pick one up. Super clean.

Here's mine. Although it doesn't have an automatic movement, I still enjoy wearing it. I've heard that there is now a trend towards smaller watches so this fits right in.

The Thickness of the rep is 8.3mm the diameter exactly 39mm without the crown! The blue dial looks very nice and changes a little depending on light incidence.

They say, that Audemars uses a trick for the nice shining dial appearence -smaler squares together with the Tapesserie patterns - same do the rep - and they say if you want to order a Gen, you have to wait for 2! years! thats why I got mine from Sead.........:thumbup:

Actually I´ve found that AP´s quartz versions didn´t have anything other than the name on the dial.
