I think , personally , it's the best rep ever seen of this model.
The 15300 , has the AP lofo attached to the edge of the dial. :facepalm:
This 15400 , has a very nice dial.

It will be at least 3 months before you see a clone version and if the clone comes earlier, I expect they'll use a cheaper rotor.

It wouldn't make sense for them to substitute with a cheaper rotor because its a different movement. Its one of the selling features of the watch, the price difference is because of a cheaper movement not because its an inferior product. They aren't trying to upsell you on the swiss.

On the rep, the rehaut looks brushed. The gen rehaut is polished. Possibly a feature that the maker has missed out.

It sure looks like you're right on that pic. Very fortunate, since polishing the rehaut is much easier done than beadblasting it.

However for 388 $ I don't wanna see this flaw , ok for minor flaws , but this is too much. Now I must wait an update before buy it. I don't wanna gift my money.

Oh yes , it's a really attractive Royal Oak , it's sure. But with the rehaut brushed lose many points. It's not a cheap watch , cost 388$ , not 150$ and I can't understand a big flaw like this. I've notice that Angus maybe will find a right version with the polish rehaut , I hope soon 'cause like wrote I'm in love with this 15400.
But if I spend 400$ I want a watch with small flaws , not with the wrong rehaut.
IMHO.
And , it's sure that the Asian version it's like this ? Maybe will fit another golden plate rotor.

This is worse handicap you can not wear it :facepalm:

The clasp however, is the only not acceptable "dislike" I have with this rep. It will close but then it'll open by a slight pressure from the wrist. I think I've read somewhere that this is the common problem on RO bracelet and it's a bummer that the makers haven't fixed it until now.

Still a bummer though.
