+Rep points for you. Great thread! Thank you so much for putting this together. This would have been extremely helpful when I was picking up my 15400 Miyota.

Im not an AP guy, but I dont pass up a quality side-by-side review when one comes up and this is quality. The points about the hour markers, hands and bezel screws were my takeaways for spotting a gen v rep.

Great work.

1st of all, kudos to klockis & gashers for these great researches & hard works, let alone the precious time!

2 thumbs Up!!!

Great effort, bro
Thx for sharing.... Fingers crossed for the next 15400 from JF.
One thing I'm pretty sure, the quality will be Gen-spec and the bezel's screws issues will finally be fixed ;)

I also didn't like the quality of the bezel & some of the original screws so I ordered extra bezels and screws hoping they have better fit and appearance.

Excellent review and comparison. I bought my 15400 white dial and a twin for my wife based on Klockis reviews and couldn't be happier. I visited an AD and checked out the 15400 with the grey dial, the only one they had, and had doubts about buying the white one. After receiving my rep I can say it looks stunning in white. Visited the AD again, without my rep of course, and got to check out the white dial version. I must say that without doing a side by side comparison I can't tell the difference, may be my eyesight is not that good... IMHO it is an excellent rep. If anything I find the lume weak. I have a PAM 089 rep and it's OEM lume is fantastic. Again thanks for your review and for helping us newbies make informed choices in buying.

Anything is possible. Mikey over on RG created titanium H screws for the Hublot Big Bang and others have created countless other custom parts.

As well as getting the correct design, you need to take in to consideration finding someone to manufacture them and the Quantity required for reasonable costing

look like the holes for the bezel screws is too large so even if you remake the bezel screws it will look badly fit. if you make the screws large to fit the cut out then its easy to tell the screws are bigger than gen

Yes the holes are bigger. I think it was slaughterer62 who talked about sanding/polishing the existing screws flat. Even that would give a better finish (in my opinion), instead of the slightly curved edges.
