ok let me simplify my statement. I would never buy a gen if it didn't have open caseback. You buy a gen for the movement. You therfore want to see the movement.
Most random people on the street would pick up a gen older AP with the closed caseback and immediately think its a fake. Whilst I dont pass my reps as gens I would have more success with an open caseback and a 7750 rather than a gen with a closed caseback.
Regarding the date window, is it still too far to the right by 0.5mm?
Not quite familiar with the ROO as compared to divers, so I'm not quite sure of the improvements of this release as compared the one over at the thread (Audemars Piguet ROO Navy Themes (Rep sec@12 vs Gen) )
BTW, what do they mean by Rep sec@12?
Yep, the dw position is still off, which isn't fixable unless they rep the DD module or the AP3126. The obvious difference on this new Navy compared to the old one in that thread is the blue color, first and foremost. Other improvements are just a bonus.
Anyway, "rep sec@12" means "the replica watch which has seconds@12".
???Oh right right. The gen has the rep sec @ 12 too yea?
???
The gen has the GEN sec @12
Yes. One is gen the other is rep.
