Thanks bud I've had no updates on schumi since I seen the proto pics way back, problem now is that the makers are that pissed with nit pickers on the forums they might not share any info early anymore.

J12 hit a goal in the back net with the bumblebee, but safari QEii have been a real let down.
On a positive they have the Gen and it's cost them a pretty Pennie, so they have no excuses.

Wow! Ok, I guess we can all just hope before Christmas or CNY since those are really not that far away! Lol

Bah

I dont really understand that way of thinking

The nitpickers on the forums will be equally nit picky on the final product and photos as they would on the series of prototype images...

Hey Shark...Welcome back..Hope you enjoyed your Vacation...Any idea if they plan on redoing the QeII(maybe beadblast instead on DLC) or they are scrapping the whole project and moving on to others...

repping from a Gen... now that sounds very promising...

surely J12 don't want to miss the mark with that sort of investment //

Welcome back Sharrkey

Isn't it in their best interest to make some flaws? This way they have a V2 or V3 if it sells good instead if making it so perfect... However, one would think that with the success of the bumble bee, and I'm sure high sales, that they would want to get it right... Perhaps specific factories are the culprit and the maker doesn't want to wait and needs to turn a profit quickly and so u have a flawed release!

I'm sure there are instances where this happens to a greater or lesser extent...

but when you've invested that amount of money and gone to the trouble of buying in a gen , ? who ever said AP don't profit from repping:lol: ?
you'd think J12 would want to get it mostly right and have their customers all forming an orderly queue round the block...

Of course the investment isn't as great as would first seem... it does of course probably retain 80% of its value if they were to sell it.. and in all probability will only go up in value in a few years...

Don't know how true this is but I do remember Angus saying a while back that the entire watch is taken apart and parts are send to certain factories that specialize in that particular part and that the gen. is virtually wrecked by the end of the procedure or all parts do not return therefore the gen is never sold....

Or maybe they can put 1 gen part in 100 different watches and sell those as Frankens.......:woo:

If this is in the fact the case ... that the Gen watch has no value.... Then even more so the rep needs to be bloody amazing... a well chosen model... one that will be a dead cert seller.... or all in all it has the hallmarks of very costly exercise

Bring on the super Schumi

The sample was indeed very promissing, I do not fear any bigger issues as long as the factory takes some advices serious.
My money is ready but needs to stay in my pockets untill end of August.
Dr. Theo
P.S. .... and nope, the sample pics can not be posted!
