The gold plating is fine. No problems at all. To be honest I have 4 gold plated watches in my collection (yes I love the color gold [emoji1]) 3 are rose and 1 is a an all yellow day-date that was my very 1st rep from 2005 and it's still holding up well and that watch has had been a daily wear for a good 7-8 years before I got into other watches. Including going in the pool with it. I would assume the quality over the years has only gotten better but I guess time will tell.
I say if you like it then just buy it you won't be disappointed [emoji1]

Thanks but it's not mine lol. It belongs to my friend misiekped (mike) who is very active on RG. I agree though, he has a very nice bench and work space. Perhaps one day I will have one like it [emoji1]

That's only 1/3 off the setup
Most of the tools are in the shelves and under the desk (case opener, crystal press) and the cleaning machine is in my laundry room as contains acids and don't want to keep in the room
I was collecting tools for years and never track the cost of them
Desk was the latest upgrade and was custom made to fit my space and my needs

Seems like everyone says the SS and RG will be around the same weight, so it's a clear difference once you strap it on.
