Actually on the AP 44mm Panda both the noob and JF are of good quality and finish and i wouldn't pay 300 bucks more for the JF version...

JF over Noob by a mile, and I had both.
2AR + lume is a must IMO.

Are you sure? I don't think there should be too big a difference in weight

Why do you think lume is a must? alfajor It seems pretty expensive for such a "small" effect, doesnt it? I mean, is there such a big difference between the rep and the gen lume?

The lume is actually very good for a rep in the dark but in this case you are mainly have it redone for the way it looks in the daytime.

The stock JF indices have a yellow-greenish color to them and they are supposed to be white like the gen and only glow green in the dark. Having the lume redone in the correct color will fix this.

The relume. I believe it's either c-1 or c-2 for the correct color to use but one of the our senior AP guys can tell you for sure which one is correct.

So, what is more gen-like? JF or Relume?

Ossi, if you end up reluming the watch yourself let me know how it goes - I'm hoping to get my hands on some lume powders and give it a shot myself

I wont do it myself. Sorry. A watch smith from the forum does it for me together with some other mods.

I was referring to the markers color (Lume uncharged), JF is green while gen is white. Noob is a bit whiter but still off. Huge tell IMO.
At night lume intensity and color is spot on.
Considering the price of the gen, a lume job+2xAR = No brainer.

It's not to big but anyway there is a difference and nobody knows why....

2mm thickness difference as well . Rep thicker than Gen.

rep movement heavier than the gen...i don't think so......anyway i used to wear the the gen....and there is a big difference....when i received my rep it is the first thing that surprised me....you can mod you rep as you want with right lume and hands....give your rep to one who knows well the gen, he will realize that it's a rep because of the weight....without even looking

I would assume it would be due to the deco plate on top of the 7750.

I'm not concerned about any differences in weight, if I know someone well enough to be letting them hold my watch, I'm not going to be lying to them and telling them it's gen :D

Of course, i will not lying too.
I'm just surprised that many people care about the size of the index or color but not the weight difference is much more shocking. I love the carbon forged for its visual effect but also for its lightness . When I try the gen I was pleasantly surprised, I had the impression do not wearing a watch.
I was disappointed when I got my rep . My Gen ROO 42mm in steel with a rubber strap weighs 166 grams. There is not a big difference.
